The controversy that trailed the resignation of Sunday Oliseh as Super Eagles Coach may have assumed a new dimension as the former Nigerian international insists he was not paid a dime by the Nigeria Football Federation contrary to their claims that he resigned just moments after they credited his account with N20 million. Oliseh who dared to drag the NFF to court for defamation, on Monday March 14, 2016 released his February 2016 bank statement showing clearly no credit transaction was made by the NFF to his bank account. In documents made available to SIGNAL on Monday, the former Super Eagles coach added evidence of how he spent his personal funds on the feeding of the home based Super Eagles who were neglected by the NFF during the CHAN tournament in Rwanda.
