Macron wins Parliament in landslide: Total failure inevitable

by Ramin Mazaheri
That headline is not even a bold statement because Macron has promised austerity and…when has austerity ever worked? It is really that simple.
There has been nearly four decades of trickle-down economics and anti-socialist policies, but there has been no promised increase in the standard of living. It has only dropped since the gains of the 1970s, the era of maximum worker power in the West.
I say the West because Iran, to give a personal example, did not have maximum worker power in the 1970s, so let’s not paint everyone all with the same brush – that’s inaccurate and only aids rampant depression in the West.

Autopsy report shows 200 level student of the Cross Rivers state University, Joy Odama, died of cocaine poison The autopsy report for Joy Odama, the 200 level student of the Cross River State University of Science and Technology, CRUTEC, who died mysteriously after she went to visit a certain Alhaji Usman Adamu, in Abuja last December, has been released. According to Vanguard, the autopsy report released by the National Hospital, Abuja, showed she died of acute cocaine poison. Joy was said to have suffered cardiogenic shock secondary to diffusion before she died. The report reads in part:

“The cause of death was traced to cardiogenic shock secondary to diffusion, myocardial infaration secondary to possible acute cocaine poison.” Mother of the deceased, Philomena Odama, had earlier this month, petitioned the presidency, the senate president, Speaker of the House of Representatives, IGP, DSS and other top security agencies, over the death of her daughter. Mrs Philomena in her petition, indicated the the suspect had invited her daughter alongside other young girls to his house and promised to sponsor their education. Joy died in his custody and the suspect allegedly connived with the police to embalm her without her parents consent. The police allegedly told them to hands off the case and collect N300, 000 the suspect was offering them, saying they can not get justice as he is well connected in the society. -

24 Boko Haram Insurgents Operating As Fulani Herdsmen Arrested In Edo

NAN- The Otaru of Auchi Kingdom, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, in Edo, on Monday announced the arrest of 24 suspected Boko Haram members operating as Fulani Herdsmen in the community by the Nigerian Army.

The monarch told newsmen in his palace at Auchi, headquarters of the Estako-West local government area of the state that the commandant of the Nigeria Army School of Engineering, NICOHO, near Auchi, informed him of the arrest of the suspected insurgents.

“Shortly before you came, I had audience with the commandant.

“He informed me about what they are doing and the arrest of some 24 suspected members of Boko Haram operating under the guise of Fulani herdsmen in the community,’’ he said.

“The commandant also informed me that the suspects would be transferred to Benin,’’ the Highness said.

He commended the commandant for taking proactive steps to have taken the fight to the suspected insurgents in the forest, saying that the “issue of security needs careful planning and execution’’.

The Otaru, who described the activities of the herdsmen in the area as worrisome, said “we have asked farmers, especially the women, to stop going to the farms for now”.

“We gave them some grants to enable them to engage in petty trading in the mean time, to avoid the incessant attacks on them.

“The traditional council is collaborating with the army, security agencies, and some vigilance groups, and we have recently incorporated the hunters to help to evolve lasting solutions to the problem,’’ he added.
