40-Year-Old Man Remanded In Prison For Sleeping With 3-Year-Old Baby In Lagos

A 40-year old man has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court after he was allegedly caught having s3x with his neighbour’s 3-year old baby. The incident happened at Ogunse Street in Onaosa area of Ibeju Lekki, Lagos where the suspect reside with the victim’s parents. It was gathered that the victim went into the suspect’s apartment, he locked his door from inside, carried her on his bed, removed her pant and penetrated her.

A woman lured to the UK believing she would receive a free education and a better life was kept as a slave for more than a decade, a court heard.   Afolake Adeniji, 50, is said to have arranged for 27-year-old Iyabo Prosper to fly to London from her home in Nigeria back in 2003, when she was just 13, but subjected her to a campaign of exploitation that left her with post-traumatic stress disorder.

U.N Suspends Food Distribution As IDPs Attack Them For Giving Them Small Food


The United Nations World Food Programme yesterday suspended food distribution to Internally Displaced Persons in Borno following an attack on its partners at Gubio camp in Maiduguri on Friday.

Angry IDPs had attacked the humanitarian workers of the International Medical Corp, an international NGO, over the food rations the NGO was distributing, injuring many people and destroying five sport utility vehicles belonging to the NGO at the Gubio camp in Maiduguri metropolis.
