A Nigerian who witnessed the protest, wrote: "I was scheduled for a flight from Abuja to Lagos today for Saturday September 10, 2016 for 5:30pm. The flight was delayed for unknown reasons until someone started shouting that the flight was delayed because we were waiting for the MD of the company.
It was at 8:00pm that they started booking the flight. The customers were upset and said that there is no way the MD will be able to fly with us. Unfortunately the story was true and the MD of the company actually got on the flight.
When customers realized who he was, there was straight up uproar. They started arguing with the MD of the company a Mr. Jack and said he must leave the plane, after 30 minutes of fighting, the MD was forced to tender an apology."
