Couple who met whilst playing dwarfs in a Snow White panto wed

Laura Whitfield, 26, proposed to Nathan Phillips, 37, a month before the birth of their son, Nathan, the only 'double dwarf' in Britain. The Sunderland couple met whilst playing dwarfs in a Snow White panto and married in a fairy-tale wedding.


Nathan Junior was born with two different forms of dwarfism, anachondaplasia like his mum and pseudochondaplasia like his dad, and was not expected to survive more than a few hours. However two-and-a-half years later, the healthy toddler acted as a ring bearer at his parent's wedding.
