T.B. Joshua to be arraigned tomorrow over death of 116 persons in church building collapse

Pastor T.B Joshua along with some engineers will be arraigned tomorrow November 30th before a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja over the death of 116 people in the Synagogue Church of all Nations building collapse which occurred in September 2014. Joshua and his engineers are expected to be arraigned before Justice Lawal Akapo according to a statement by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Bola Akingbade. The engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun, had last year filed a suit asking a court to stop the police from inviting, arresting or prosecuting them over the death of the 116 victims but a Coroner Inquest set up by the Lagos state government indicted the engineers and recommended them for investigation and prosecution for criminal negligence.

Tension has gripped Ogbonicha, the home of the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in the Saturday election in Kogi State, Abubakar Audu, following the delay in the burial of the politician, who died Sunday evening. Mr. Audu’s burial was initially fixed for 10am (today) Monday, a situation which made friends and relatives to besiege his palatial home early in the day.

But after waiting endlessly without the burial taking place, angry mourners started demanding his corpse be brought out. To forestall the breakdown of law and order, PREMIUM TIMES correspondent reports, security personnel blocked the main entrance to the late politician’s home.

Fellows I need help.

During my early uni days I got carried away by extra activities which pretty much cost me academically and even if I am among the best in my dept my result suffered, as a result my CGPA was embarrassing to say the least.

Upon resuming 300 Level, a good friend of mine did not resume, after a few weeks I was worried as you would expect so I traveled down to his family's house to inquire since his number was not going through and was told about his sad demise. He had an accident which cost him his life. I was saddened by what had happened because he was really good and was most probably the 4 best student in the dept, strong CGPA, a 2.1, he was really good not just academically but he had pure natural talent and the way I see it was the hope of his family.
