Following the continued detention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh by operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS, youths from all local government areas in Anambra State staged a peaceful protest, calling for his immediate release.
The protesting youths who wielded placards with various inscriptions started their procession from the PDP state secretariat and marching through some major cities. Some of the inscription among other thus reads: “Buhari leave our Olisa Metuh alone,” “EFCC shouldn’t be allowed to be dragged into politics.”
The protesters however vowed to continue their protest on a daily basis until Metuh is released from EFCC’s custody.
