How better can one make impact in the lives of the Internally Displaced People? Their pain and anguish leave much to be desired! Kudos must indeed be given to this young lady who took it upon herself through her newly formed Foundation to move towards alleviating the condition of some of the kids at the IDP camp. On Saturday, 19th September, Chigolden Global Foundation visited the Abuja kuchin-goro IDP Refugee Camp to share relief materials, food items and books to the kids.
It was a painful sight to see helpless kids going through excruciating and deplorable situation in the camp because of lack of attention. Enugu state born Beauty Queen and reigning Miss Ambassador For Peace Disapora who will be handing over by this weekend had resolved to champion the objective of her foundation Chigolden Aid Foundation " Take The Child Off the Street Initiative" around the world starting from Nigeria. The clip of the visitation was aired on NTA network news last night and as at writing this report, several organisations and NGOs are already calling to identify with the Foundation.
Though, the high-point of the visit was when the project director Queen Grace Chioma Egboh offered Scholarship to two kids from the camp with NTA crew capturing every moment. Daniel Adamu and Amina Abduramai are the beneficiaries of the scholarship which will take them through their primary education, with a possibility of extension in secondary education. The pretty light-skinned model who had Tuface as the special Guest at her recent birthday party is a final year student of Benson Idahosa University Benin City, studying Social Work. The foundation is powered by Chigolden Global LTD.
