Check Out Nigerian Female Celebrities Who Smokes Shisha (Photos)

Shisha smoking is a way of smoking tobacco, sometimes mixed with fruits or molasses sugar, through a bowl & a hose with a mouthpiece. The hose connects the flavored smoke from substances being burnt in the bowl to the lungs of the smoker through the mouthpiece Shisha pipes use tobacco sweetened with fruits or molasses sugar which makes shisha smoking a more pleasurable experience than cigarettes.

There is a popular saying that what a man can do, a woman can do best. This saying is gradually coming into manifestation with the high rate of Nigerian female entertainers who form the habit of smoking one of the high grade cigarettes, Shisha.

Naijapals.com observed that few days ago, wife of former Nigerian football star, Joseph Yobo, Adaeze, proudly shared a photo of herself having the Carbon dioxide exhaled from her mouth and nose while having a quiet relaxation at a club (mother of two).

Some years back, Nollywood actress Chika Ike is caught smoking Indian Shisha in Dubai, after divorcing her husband, Mr. Ebirebi after seven years of marriage, where she has gone for holidays in Dubai to unwind. Furthermore, controversial singer, Adokiye, was not left out of the smoking fun as she once shared a picture of herself having a cool-off in a lounge. The singer has always been a centre of discuss especially when she disclosed that she would gladly give her virginity in place of the release of the Chibok girls some months back.

Soundcity VJ, Moet Abebe, sure knows how sing the song, ‘Give me the lighter, give me that kush,’ as her eyes went deem after having a good intake of the shisha without minding if there was any side effects to it. Anita Joseph, is not new into the game of smoking but what surprised many recently was when singer, Omawumi and her hubby were spotted having the shisha as a form of cooling off while she was still nursing her baby. The latest to join the shisha bloc is actress, Laide Bakare. From NFC close observation it was not obvious if she smokes, but she recently gave an insight on how it is like handling the shisha pipe.

Others say since the tobacco smoke has passed through water, all the toxic chemicals in the Shisha have been filtered out. According to findings, Shisha smoking is a destructive habit regardless of the smoke being flavored. Despite the fact that Shisha is flavored & passed through water, the carcinogens (cancer-causing agents) and nicotine remains very present. Regular Shisha smokers should know they are at risk of the same medical problems as cigarette/tobacco smokers. The nicotine present in Shisha smoke is very addictive & things may degenerate that the smoker may need the Shisha every day.

According to a W.H.O research, the amount of smoke inhaled in one hour of Shisha smoking is the same as smoking 100-200 cigarettes. People smoke Shisha for longer periods than they smoke cigarettes. Just 1 puff of inhaled Shisha smoke is like smoking a whole cigarette.
