Fight Breaks Out Between Passengers Aboard A Plane After ‘Drunk; Woman Goes On Rampage. Photos

A fight broke out on board a holiday plane as a ‘drunk’ woman passenger started kicking off. Punches were thrown by both men and women over the seats as other passengers stood up to try and get away from the brawl. The trouble flared on the Ryanair Newcastle to Alicante flight as it was coming in to land.

A video was posted online by Lucy Norris, of Blyth, Northumberland, who was going on holiday with five friends.

The 30-year-old said: “It was just as we were about to land when the woman started kicking off. “She was shouting, screaming and making a show of herself. She had been rude to a few people on the flight and I think she was mortal drunk.

“The police were made aware and we thought they were going to come on and drag her off but it didn’t happen. “They were waiting there as we got off.”

The footage then appeared to show the man throw some liquid from a plastic cup over the woman sitting behind him.

The woman, wearing a yellow shirt, retaliated by standing up and throwing a punch at the pair.

Passengers could be heard shouting for the trio to calm down as an air hostess tried to intervene.

The flight left Newcastle International Airport at 10.55am on Thursday and arrived in Alicante at around 4pm.

Mrs Norris said the flight was not delayed by the incident.
