Naija Gist Exclusive: Pastor Anselm Madubuko of Revival Assembly in Alleged Affair With K-Solo’s Ex Wife

Three years after a bitter separation characterised by a media war and court battle, a Nigerian producer K-Solo and his ex-wife Kikelomo Akinkunmi are in the news again. Multiple sources are alleging the musician’s ex-wife has been in an affair with respected Nigerian pastor Anselm Madubuko. Madubuko, founder and senior pastor of Revival Assembly, and widower of Connie  is married to Emmy Kosgei, a Kenyan gospel singer.

We’re not able to immediately confirm the allegations. Madubuko’s assistant Pastor Sope Ilori has not picked or returned calls and our visits to the church yielded no result. One source who attended the church’s service on Sunday, October 18, 2015 says Kikelomo has been expelled from the Church after members got wind of the secret relationship
Multiple sources confirm to us that Pastor Madubuko confessed on Sunday October 18, 2015 when he came to church to kneel before the congregation to apologise and beg for forgiveness. It’s not the first time a Nigerian pastor is being accused of infidelity in recent times. COZA’s Biodun Fatoyinbo is yet to provide his ‘robust response’ following a damning expose by former church member Ese Walters alleging he abused her.

Madubuko, we’re told, ‘came on the pulpit on Sunday to confess that he has dated Kike for 3 months. He said she came to him as a prayer warrior and he didn’t suspect foul play till it was too late’. Kike, a mother-of-one, was ‘expelled from the church along with a certain Pastor Uche’ a source said. We also learnt that Pastor Madubuko’s Kenyan wife, Emmy Kosgei was present in church and she consoled him as he wept terribly in front of the congregation. Neither K-solo nor Kike agreed to comment on the allegations. ‘I don’t want to say anything about it, I’ll just leave it and let God judge everybody. Please don’t ask any more questions because you can’t convince me as a journalist to speak on this issue’, she told our correspondent over the phone on Monday, October 19, 2015. Efforts to reach the Pastor through phone calls didn’t yield results.  From our trips to the church, we learnt that the Sunday service tapes are on sale as at time of writing this story.
