Can A HIV Positive Person Travel To UK, London Precisely, For A Permanent Stay?

I do not know the right section for this topic but I'm guessing travel is best cause I want sincere and mature responses from Nairalanders who have directly or indirectly been involved in such.

Been to London once in 2002, on a two year visiting visa, returned after 2 weeks cos deal was to visit again the next year summer and stay permanently ( many extended family members do this many times and they are swelling in good life now).

Only for paternal uncle (who sponsored the trip in the 1st place) to say cos of the HIV status, he cannot allow me stay permanently. I never returned back till date.

It's been over 13 years, I'm doing good(at least averagely) financially now but I really want to go back to London and make it big like all my extended family members are doing. Though im married now, hubby is negative, kids negative too.

So, pls nairalanders, is there any hope for a positive person to cope in London under the above illustration? I actually thought of getting up to 2 years dose of arv(which I can afford to buy) and take along while I work on my permanent stat.

Pls advice
