It’s the second-largest drop in postwar French history in the first 3 months of a presidency – only Chirac plunged further.

Macron’s approval rating currently stands at 54%, and while that would be (shockingly) good in 2021, it’s terrible for a new president, said this here journalist who insists on context for statistics.

Francois Hollande’s approval rating after 100 days was the lowest in postwar history, at 44%. This means Macron has 5 more weeks to lose 10 points, and that is certainly possible.

Their dismissal followed an Orderly Room trial at the Zone Two Command Headquarters, Onikan-Yaba, Lagos in which the men were found guilty by the Adjudicating officer on two charges of offence against discipline as provided for in paragraphs C (ii) Corrupt Practices and E (iii) Discreditable Conduct of the First Schedule of Police Act and Regulations Cap. P19. Law of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.

A female suicide bomber, on Monday killed eight persons and injured 18 others during an attempt to enter a mosque in London Ciki area in Jere Local Government Area on the outskirts of Maiduguri, Borno State. This was disclosed at a press briefing by Mr. Damian Chukwu, Borno State Police Commissioner. Mr. Chukwu also disclosed that the bomber detonated the explosive device on her body, killing herself.
