Massive protest inside plane as the MD of Dana Air delays flight

A Nigerian who witnessed the protest, wrote: "I was scheduled for a flight from Abuja to Lagos today for Saturday September 10, 2016 for 5:30pm. The flight was delayed for unknown reasons until someone started shouting that the flight was delayed because we were waiting for the MD of the company.





It was at 8:00pm that they started booking the flight. The customers were upset and said that there is no way the MD will be able to fly with us. Unfortunately the story was true and the MD of the company actually got on the flight.





When customers realized who he was, there was straight up uproar. They started arguing with the MD of the company a Mr. Jack and said he must leave the plane, after 30 minutes of fighting, the MD was forced to tender an apology."

Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, who made this known at a town hall meeting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, yesterday, said that Nigeria spends about $22bn a year on importation of food into the country.

How To Obtain A Driving Learner's Permit In Nigeria

A learner's permit is an initial authorization by law permitting an intending driver's licence applicant to train and perfect his or her driving skills for a period not less than 3 months.

The procedure for obtaining the learner's permit is as follows:

1) Applicant must be 18 years of age.
2) Obtain form MVA 15.
3) Pay the prescribed fee.
4) Attend a certified driving school.
5) Obtain a pass from driving school with third issue learner's permit.
6) Drive for at least 3 months accompanied by an instructor who is a licensed driver.
7) Affix plates displaying the letter "L" on the front and rear of the vehicle.

It is also compulsory for all learner's permit applicants to obtain the Nigeria highway code.
